Our Story

No Family Should Lose What Was Rightfully Theirs

We built this because we've seen what happens when families are left without a map. It's not just money — it's years of hard work that simply disappears.

Why We Built This

20+ years in financial payments and banking strategy

My uncle passed away suddenly in 2019. He was 58. He had worked his entire life — savings accounts, LIC policies, a small property. He never told anyone where any of it was.

My aunt spent two years visiting banks, calling insurance companies, and hiring lawyers. She found maybe 40% of what he had. The rest is still out there somewhere — unclaimed, unreachable, lost.

That's when I understood the problem. It wasn't about technology or AI. It was about the absence of a simple map. A piece of paper that said: “Here is where everything is. Here is who should know.”

PRUMAA is that map — digital, secure, and delivered to the right people at the right time.

Our Mission

No family should lose what was rightfully theirs because they didn't know where to look. PRUMAA gives every family a secure, simple way to leave a financial map — and a heartbeat system that delivers it only when it's truly needed.

We are aligned with the Digital India vision: making financial security accessible, transparent, and simple for every citizen, regardless of their financial literacy or geographic location.

Why Now?

Digital India

More Indians than ever have bank accounts, insurance policies, and digital assets — but no system to track them all in one place.

Increasing Complexity

The average Indian family now has 4-6 financial products across multiple institutions. The map is getting harder to draw.

Sudden Loss Stories

₹42,000 Cr+ sits unclaimed in Indian banks. Behind every rupee is a family that didn't know where to look.

What We Stand For

Security First

Every architectural decision starts with security. Your family's financial map is more sensitive than anything else — we treat it that way.

Radical Simplicity

This must work for a 60-year-old who isn't comfortable with technology. No jargon, no complexity — just a simple form that asks where your things are.

Family-Centered

We build for families, not just individuals. Every feature considers the nominee, the heir, and the next generation who will need this map.

Financial Inclusion

Unclaimed assets disproportionately affect families who lack financial literacy or legal access. We level that playing field.

Our Journey

  1. The Beginning

    The Idea

A family member passes away. The family spends months searching for bank accounts, insurance policies, and documents. Most of it is never found. PRUMAA begins.

  2. Research Phase

    Talking to Families

Spoke with families across India. The pattern was universal: the problem isn't greed or negligence — it's the absence of a simple map.

  3. Building Phase

    Building the Vault

Designed the heartbeat system, the nominee model, the Guardian layer, and the encrypted vault architecture. Security-first from day one.

  4. May 2026

    Pre-Launch

Early access testing with real families. Refining the 10-minute setup experience based on real feedback.

  5. July 2026

    Public Launch

Full platform launch with heartbeat check-ins, nominee management, Guardian protection, and emergency trigger.
