Simple enough for anyone.
Powerful enough to protect everything.
5 steps. 10 minutes to set up. Peace of mind forever.
Step 1
List Your Assets
Just tell us where your money is.
You fill in a simple form — bank name, account number, and where the physical documents are kept. That's it. No passwords. No documents to upload. No complicated forms.
Example entry:
Bank: HDFC Bank · Account: Savings · Documents: Home safe, 2nd drawer from top
Step 2
Assign a Nominee
Who should know about each asset?
For each asset, you assign one nominee — the person who should be informed about it. Your wife gets the LIC policy. Your son gets the demat account. Each person sees only what you've assigned to them — nothing more.
Example:
LIC Policy → Wife (Priya) · SBI Account → Son (Arjun) · Property Docs → Daughter (Neha)
Step 3
Add a Global Guardian (Optional)
Your family's safety net if nominees don't respond.
A Guardian is one trusted person — a parent, sibling, CA, or family lawyer — who steps in only if your nominees are unreachable. They're the backup layer that ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Who to choose:
A parent, sibling, trusted CA, or family lawyer — someone who will act responsibly for your family.
Step 4
Heartbeat Check-in
Periodically, we ask: "Are you okay?"
You get a WhatsApp message (or email or SMS — your choice). It says: "Hi [Name], just checking in — are you okay?" You tap ✅ Yes. That's it. 3 seconds. Everything stays private. Your family sees nothing.
The message looks like:
"Hi Ramesh 👋 Just checking in — are you okay? Tap YES to confirm." → You tap YES → Done.
Step 5
Emergency Escalation
If you don't respond, your family is protected.
If you miss check-ins and don't respond to reminders, the escalation begins. First, nominees are alerted. If a nominee responds, only their assigned asset info is shared. If nominees don't respond, the guardian is alerted for those assets. If no one responds at all, the guardian receives the full escalation.
The escalation flow:
Nominee alerted first → Nominee responds? Only that asset shared → Nominee silent? Guardian alerted for that asset → All silent? Guardian gets full access
The Full Picture
Here's exactly what happens from the moment you set up Prumaa to the moment your family needs it.
Common Questions
What if I'm on vacation and miss a check-in?+
We send multiple reminders over several days before triggering. You can also pause check-ins from your settings before you travel.
Can my nominees see my assets right now?+
No. Everything is completely invisible to nominees until the emergency escalation fires. Zero visibility before that.
What if I accidentally don't respond?+
You can cancel the trigger at any time by simply responding to the check-in message. We also send multiple reminders before anything happens.
What does the Guardian actually receive?+
The Guardian is alerted only if nominees don't respond. If a specific nominee is silent, the guardian gets that asset's info. If no nominees respond at all, the guardian receives the full escalation with all asset details.
What's the difference between Guardian and Assist plans?+
Guardian Plan gives you the full preparedness system — heartbeat alerts, emergency escalation, and a trusted guardian as backup. Assist Plan adds guided support — we help your family with setup, claim guidance, and priority assistance during difficult times.
Is my data safe?+
All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit. We cannot see your data. Nominees cannot see your data. Only you can access your information.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes, anytime. All data is permanently erased within 30 days. No backups retained.
Ready? It takes 10 minutes.
Free forever. Unlimited assets. No credit card needed.
