Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PRUMAA ("the Service"), operated by RG Legacy Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PRUMAA is a Family Preparedness Service that helps users organize information about their assets, assign nominees, set up emergency contacts (guardians), and configure inactivity-based alert systems. PRUMAA does not store passwords, provide financial advice, execute legal documents, or handle bank transactions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use this Service. By using PRUMAA, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Data You Provide

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the asset information, nominee details, and guardian information you enter into PRUMAA. We do not verify the accuracy of this information. PRUMAA serves as an organizational tool — not a legal document or binding will.

6. Heartbeat & Emergency Alerts

  • The heartbeat check-in system sends periodic notifications asking you to confirm your safety.
  • If you fail to respond within the configured timeframe, your nominees and/or guardian may be notified.
  • We are not liable for false triggers caused by missed notifications, network issues, or device problems.
  • You can disable the heartbeat system at any time from your settings.

7. Subscription & Payments

  • Free Plan: Limited features, no payment required.
  • Individual Plan: ₹1,499/year — billed annually via Razorpay.
  • Family Plan: ₹2,499/year — billed annually via Razorpay.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of payment if no nominee alerts have been triggered.

8. Limitations of Service

PRUMAA does NOT:

  • Store your bank passwords, PINs, or login credentials
  • Provide legal, financial, or tax advice
  • Execute wills, trusts, or legal transfers
  • Guarantee delivery of notifications (dependent on email/SMS providers)
  • Handle bank claims or insurance settlements on your behalf

PRUMAA provides guidance and coordination support — not legal execution or bank handling.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of PRUMAA is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

10. Termination

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PRUMAA and RG Legacy Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, missed notifications, or delays in nominee alerts.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
